The Kodak - 1988 Commemorative Facsimile
This is an accurate facsimile commissioned by a photographic museum in Bradford, UK, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the original Kodak. 2000 were produced and this is No.1229. They are non-working' facsimiles. Unfortunately it does not have the leaflets, certificate and circular prints that came with when first sold. But it does have the pink string and green felt 'bathplug' lens cap. Condition is fair, with a few marks to the leatherette but no wear or damage. A very rare item and a great display piece for the serious Kodak collector - after all, most of us can't afford a genuine 'Original', especially one that still has its lens cap! $650 -
Kodak Film exhibition banner
Kodak Film promo banner - heavy vinyl 4m x .8m (12ft+ x 3ft). Rolls up nicely but quite heavy. No tears or fading. Great exhibition or display item. $150 -
Premo OO
Is this the smallest box camera ever? The Kodak Cartridge Premo OO took a tiny 35mm size film similar to 828 and was very popular in its day. Now it's somewhat scarce (possibly they all got lost down the back of the sofa). No Kodak collection can be thought serious without one! Fair condition (shutter sticky and could use a touch of shoe polish) AU$200 -
Kodak Bits and pieces
Groups of old Kodak bits - lucky dip -
Kodak No. 2 - 1889
The second Kodak. Release in 1889 with the No.1, the improved Original. It had a larger image size (3.5 inch circular compared to 2.5) and more adjustments, accessed by dropping the front panel. Like the Original and No.1 it was a 'stringset - the shutter was cocked by pulling the catgut 'string' - and it had to be returned to Kodak for film processing. Rare and significant. This one is in working condition . Generally good condition except the top panel leather is a bit flakey as usual. AU$850 -
